A letter to you
Before asking you to forgive anyone, this book forgives you.
Some weights you carry everywhere. The grudge, the regret, the voice that says you are not enough. This is a letter from someone who forgives you before you have done anything. Who is writing is revealed on the last page.

The Message
Beloved. I am here to bring you a message. This message will profoundly change how you perceive life. The importance of it far exceeds anything you have ever known before. You would do well if you choose to listen to it. Perfection will dawn on you if you heed my words, and this is no exaggeration. You have my promise, here and now at the very beginning of our short joint journey, that I will not lie to you, downplay, or exaggerate the effects of the message.
The message I bring is powerful. It carries the power to transform life into ever-expanding joy and happiness. And that is what you are after, is it not? Joy and happiness are the only things you seek. I know you want only them because I do too, and we are very much alike, more than you dare to think. At this point you do not know me yet, but the message will change that.
The message I bring holds within it a secret. It is meant for your eyes only. It must remain so for the end of time and beyond. I trust you in keeping this secret because there is no other option from which to choose. This secret is, and can be, yours alone.
The message I bring is perfect. It is like a snowflake, and it has the power to transform your experience of life into similar perfection. If I put the message in one sentence here and now, you would end up resisting it both mentally and physically. Mentally, meaning you would judge the message downright wrong; physically, meaning you would throw this book away. This is not what we want. Please, be patient and listen to my words one at a time.
So, are you sincerely willing to listen? If not, then you should put this book down and go live your life as you see fit. There are many ways to live a life, of which none are better or worse than the others. However, you should know that all roads lead back to facing the message I bring you here.
Do not regard this book as another trophy in your collection of I have read many books, and now I am a lot smarter. The message I bring is not and cannot be a vehicle for intellectual arrogance. The message comes in the form of knowledge, which you may even apply in your everyday life. However, if you think knowledge and its applications are all you will gain, you have missed the point.
The message, when you have accepted it and understood it correctly, will show you peace.
Nine chapters, and a revelation on the final page.

Who is writing the letter?
That is the turn the book takes, and it is revealed on the last page. Saying more here would spoil it.
Do I have to forgive someone in particular?
No. The book argues the opposite: that no one in your world ever needs to be forgiven, but you are always the one who needs to forgive.
What if it is not for me?
Write to me within 30 days and I refund you. Keep the file.
The other books
Different doors into the same quiet. Begin anywhere.
The Sound of the Bells
A man is given three months to live, walks out of the hospital and follows a dream to a fishing village, where an old man under a coconut tree asks him one question. A short novel about the end of mind-made suffering, and the peace that was underneath it all along. If you read one of my books, read this one first.
Seeker of Silences
Fifty short contemplations from a silent mind. A few hundred words each, to be read one at a time, when the noise gets loud.
A Year of Stillness
My year in northern Finland, day by day: client meetings, daycare, the night shift, the sauna. Stillness noticed inside an ordinary working life, not apart from it.
We Were Once Human
Nine chapters, each opening in nature, on what lies past the self we defend. A plain definition of transcendence for people allergic to gurus.
An Inquiry Into Reality
An inquiry into what is actually here once the labels fall away. It ends with one instruction: be kind.
7 Days of Presence
Seven days, seven doors: attention, silence, acceptance, now, the self, forgiveness, rest. A short teaching for each day, questions to sit with, and the whole course read in my own voice.
The Complete Library
All seven books, the seven-day course with its audio, and the audiobooks of A Year of Stillness and Seeker of Silences in my own voice. Everything, for less than the books and course bought one by one.
